About Us:

Stephen Pellett began riding at the age of 5 and competing at the age of 7. He has always had a drive and passion to become a fighting force in this industry. From the pony jumpers as a junior to the Grand Prix as a young professional, he had the opportunity to train with some very talented trainers. He has trained under Richard Keller, Samantha Reid-Scanlan, Dick Widger, Anita English, and Tracy Cotchett, which allowed him to achieve great knowledge and skills. This training allowed him to excel in his junior and young amateur career in all three arenas. As a top talent and focused competitor, Stephen qualified for all Northern California medal finals throughout his junior career, as well as the USEF talent search finals in 2008. He has since had many top finishes from the international hunter derby to Grand Prix arena.
His professional career started under the guidance of trainer Toni Venza, learning the ins and outs of what it took to not only run a successful show barn and riding program, but the process of bringing a combination from the walk trot ring up to the competitive advanced equitation and hunter rings. With his knowledge and experience, his goal as a trainer is to develop each student/horse combination into the polished, knowledgeable, and skillful rider. Stephen currently runs his training business, Meadow Hill Farm, at Pebble Beach Equestrian Center in Pebble Beach, CA.
